Message from the Chatelaine
The Chatelaine is our Baronial welcome wagon. THLady Jyne Hope holds this position, and she is responsible for distributing information to those new to the Barony. Whatever you interest is, THLady Jyne is a great point-of-contact to get you headed in the right direction.
We are so glad you’re interested in our group, and we want to make you feel at home in the Barony. We have a loaner closet to help you get started and fit right in at our activities, feast gear so you can enjoy every savory bite of our meals, and equipment for trying out martial arts. We’re here to help you get started.
Be sure to check out our Facebook discussion group. This is where you can introduce yourself, look for announcements, and ask questions.
I want to invite and encourage you to attend every event that interests you, so be sure to check out our Baronial calendar. All of these events are open to the public, and you are welcome to attend.
I hope you’ll contact me with any questions you have, and I look forward to meeting you!
THLady Jyne Hope
While attendees of our events are encouraged to provide their own equipment, we recognize that those new to the game may not have medieval garb, feast gear, and combat necessities. Therefore, we strive to make these resources available to those in need.
Loaner Garb + Feast
THLady Jyne Hope is responsible for Gold Key. Gold Key carries medieval tunics, skirts, pants, veils, rolls, belts, and belt pouches in most adult sizes and some youth sizes. If you are attending an event and do not have clothing of feast gear, Gold Key can help outfit you so you don’t have to stress about all the little details. We do bring our loaner gear to events, but the best way to guarantee this gear is reserved for you is to contact THLady Jyne before the event.
You can contact THLady Jyne Hope to request loaner gear at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We also offer loaner gear for heavy combat, rapier, and archery. This loaner gear is available at fighter practices and archery practices. You can find out more about those events by visiting our calendar page or by visiting the Facebook discussion group.
